I am not a member of any environtmental organization either. For I am just an ordinary <b><a href="http://mirror-on-thewall.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">woman</a></b> who raises two kids who deals with ordinary activities between <b><a href="http://mommymayonnaise.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">house</a></b> and school. So I can not speak as powerful as you who familiar with environtmental issues. But even an ordinary mother likes me will hate this picture below!<br>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGvjQppz9uDwC5rM0CblRCYqyfxgowAxKXBYHO4ZSeRnnK9dEmRFkP0wXAKSYs5SAJ17kLomr5ncHfevx_jG7LQBK-NTJdbWzKL1lKeltUQ-AUDTyq0V6jqaPAt_58NAtcI9BNNe_YRnwV/s640/blogger-image-94423890.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGvjQppz9uDwC5rM0CblRCYqyfxgowAxKXBYHO4ZSeRnnK9dEmRFkP0wXAKSYs5SAJ17kLomr5ncHfevx_jG7LQBK-NTJdbWzKL1lKeltUQ-AUDTyq0V6jqaPAt_58NAtcI9BNNe_YRnwV/s640/blogger-image-94423890.jpg"></a></div>
<br></div>
<div>
You do not have to be an <b>environmental</b> activitist to realize how wrong that picture could be. I took this picture about last December during our way back home to Medan after spending Christmas is my hometown. It is a big truck which carried so many logs and drives across the highway with no car plate visible. I think the driver really has guts to take all those logs across the highway where there is a big possibility that he would cross path with the highway patrol. But then I realize the ironic of my innocent thought. How could he worries about getting caught by highway patrol for carrying so many logs in his truck while he does not even care to put a car plate which actually is against the law in the first place. So I finally think that this guy must have someone to cover him up while doing this illegal logging and carry them across the highway in the mid day. So that he does not need to be afraid of any highway patrol sine he already has the '<i>magic letter</i>' in his pocket, just in case they caught him on the road.</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
You see, the condition of our forest is getting worse and worse every year. I am not talking about the forests all over Indonesia, its way to large for me. I am talking about the nearest forest in Sumatera Utara where I can see with my own eyes. The largest forest I usually see is on the way to <b>Danau Toba</b> (<b>Toba Lake</b>) in Parapat City. Actually, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the forest along the meandering road where tall trees covering you like canopy. It is so peacefully and so beautiful. You can also see monkeys sitting on the edge of the road waiting for cars to stop and throw foods from the car's window. You will see no high building, even houses are rare to find.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTMG7zYoglMQhUoOn3xV7EkTU3WWmVzlJftsmCRkYuZr8rHKuGC2qk6V_117LHq6XEyskmFMVhL37gpreNHsYwzQSM4NJBFOR8xrCB2U1FdeWwUYYZEVTWunDsCM1Vfj76JMk2vXNURhQ0/s640/blogger-image--1534077039.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTMG7zYoglMQhUoOn3xV7EkTU3WWmVzlJftsmCRkYuZr8rHKuGC2qk6V_117LHq6XEyskmFMVhL37gpreNHsYwzQSM4NJBFOR8xrCB2U1FdeWwUYYZEVTWunDsCM1Vfj76JMk2vXNURhQ0/s640/blogger-image--1534077039.jpg"></a></div>
</div>
<div>
But who knows that in fact its all just a covered up lie. You can see those beautiful trees along the road as the picture above, but if you try to cross the edge of the forest and go deeper, you will find that there are a large empty area behind those beautiful trees that you saw from the road. There are very few trees left behind them, where you can not see directly unless you try to find them. The empty area are getting larger every time since no one wants to stop the illegal logging back there. Huge companies pay lots of money to get illegal permitt before destroying that beautiful <b>forest</b>.</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
There's been talking about this here and there. Local medias have written about this too as well as the environtmental activists. But it's been a long time and still there is no punishment given to any one involved yet. That is why I have a feeling that this illegal logging is still going to happen for the next few years. I just hope that it won't last forever. Save our forest! So our children in the future will still able to enjoy the scenery of famous <b>Danau Toba</b> below with the beauty of the <b>forest</b> surround it.</div>

<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">What do our cities need to have/provide in order to attract visitors to come? Nature scenery is always be the most popular destination but obviously its hard to find a lake or a <b><a href="http://mirror-on-thewall.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">beautiful</a></b> mountain scenery in the middle of a big city like Medan. Places with incredible <b><a href="http://mommymayonnaise.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">culinary</a></b> experiences has been the pronounced as a main destination for tourists to come here since Medan indeed is a melting pot. Almost every visitors come here to try our local taste and never get disappinted. So many places with great culinary experiences are usually noted well and promoted by the local media or travel agents. As well as places as shopping spree destinations such as malls, hotels or plazas. All those gigantic and modern buildings stand out in almost every places in Medan and many more modern buildings are yet to come.</span></div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
On the other side, ironically, we must see so many historical old buildings are forgotten. Like this one below.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGTH7viHwNdzb7pF11jFlpkQgJtu-XGX2UKYXLn9J8YqL8nl5BGCq2ADSDlM6YH5yUNjbVXpAb3Cf6BBhyphenhyphenEW73gt8j2ep7udLFFC2iAExjasLBro1B4g448qQsqsDWnjw0xTL0-y_fRBK8/s640/blogger-image-1609733002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGTH7viHwNdzb7pF11jFlpkQgJtu-XGX2UKYXLn9J8YqL8nl5BGCq2ADSDlM6YH5yUNjbVXpAb3Cf6BBhyphenhyphenEW73gt8j2ep7udLFFC2iAExjasLBro1B4g448qQsqsDWnjw0xTL0-y_fRBK8/s640/blogger-image-1609733002.jpg"></a></div>
<br></div>
<div>
This is a huge historical old building that you can find on Jalan Hindu Medan. This buildings is from the colonial era and was a supermarket built by a Germany architect and was taken by the Dutch. The actual condition of this building is still good but surely needs to be restored. Almost entire of the wall is covered with moss and the original colour has changed due to ages. But the antique windows are still look amazing and the entire building is still stand strong.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl8wSVdUEDfr9ZvqPVkAuc9XlIm7d-vSWC3Mw7XTMGLaPIQ1iLgt-ebEzkkZwQrs1xUjsefWGASxst6HoGUWcL8dNe5ZVeYEJ-pAmbMNdt2fZdDkZU90rYcc5zXmiz6mRha625HRO_gQE1/s640/blogger-image--1166595600.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl8wSVdUEDfr9ZvqPVkAuc9XlIm7d-vSWC3Mw7XTMGLaPIQ1iLgt-ebEzkkZwQrs1xUjsefWGASxst6HoGUWcL8dNe5ZVeYEJ-pAmbMNdt2fZdDkZU90rYcc5zXmiz6mRha625HRO_gQE1/s640/blogger-image--1166595600.jpg"></a></div>
<br></div>
<div>
I am not sure about who owns this building now, is it the local authority or a big company in Medan. But I heard that some local communities are using this old building as their base camps where they can sit together with their fellow friends, smoking, drinking or doing nothing useful for this building. Many historians have asked the local authority to turn this historical building into historical museum. It will become a very useful places where people can learn about their past while preserving the building at the same time, but has got no good responses so far while the building is getting 'weaker and weaker' everytime.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEhpFxQHVGssOaRuAUo4z_CfSAdoVeuZgYF7FLasTL74mQttYxAW3KGDyXaaHmH_Rt0878-_ssgcl3VWLAkLVrayraGcTc2ziUza4NX0Ou_0PeJ0S75VERUEo1YGNnHLtkaJHuJ7bhpqUQ/s640/blogger-image--843975831.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEhpFxQHVGssOaRuAUo4z_CfSAdoVeuZgYF7FLasTL74mQttYxAW3KGDyXaaHmH_Rt0878-_ssgcl3VWLAkLVrayraGcTc2ziUza4NX0Ou_0PeJ0S75VERUEo1YGNnHLtkaJHuJ7bhpqUQ/s640/blogger-image--843975831.jpg"></a></div>
<br></div>
<div>
Medan has zero historical museum yet (do not ask me how many mall and hotels are now here #ironic) History is not just a matter of dates and events we need to memorize during school and forgotten afterwards. This historical building should last longer so that our children can also see and understand its historical background and how Medan was built during the colonial era. I read a lot about countries which preserve their historical buildings for so many years such as England, Netherlands, etc while the opposite thing is happening here in Medan. So sad.</div>
<div>
We should not wait until this gorgeous building becomes completely ruins before finally realize how precious it really is. Its going to be too late...</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Not far from this building, you can find old coffee shop which is famous among coffee lovers in Medan. You can read my post about it </span><b style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><a href="http://rismahutabarat.blogspot.com/2009/06/kopikopiaku-suka-kopi.html" target="_blank">here</a></b><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">.</span></div>

</div>
Hello again my dear friends, how was your <b><a href="http://mirror-on-thewall.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Christmas</a></b> celebration there? I hope its as merry as ours :)<br />
We went to my hometown in Siantar on December 24 along with my husband and the <b><a href="http://mommymayonnaise.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">kids</a></b>. One day, we went to the local zoo nearby after attending service at church. My kids love animals and we do not have much time to take them to the zoo in Medan. And the zoo in Siantar is way better than Medan. Below, I share some of pictures when we're at the zoo. I hope you enjoy it :)<br />
<br />
There are hundreds of animals here, unfortunatelly I can not capture them one by one. So I choose deer, white tiger, lion, camel, and zebra.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvLma0LVhXHizpu7sDus4akkjJHzoQc8qFTq5b3bBReNYBtbwoJlVSmf-jDVQlra9lwk-OJc2UJePBM95R70WEMK2OWWb_YNM2MM3zpFyfDLDP8hoDJzkDZACBvPYSpJpZvsop0H39FOXX/s640/blogger-image-405292806.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvLma0LVhXHizpu7sDus4akkjJHzoQc8qFTq5b3bBReNYBtbwoJlVSmf-jDVQlra9lwk-OJc2UJePBM95R70WEMK2OWWb_YNM2MM3zpFyfDLDP8hoDJzkDZACBvPYSpJpZvsop0H39FOXX/s640/blogger-image-405292806.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
My favorite activity at the zoo is feeding the deer :D<br />
You can just stand close to the cage and wait for the deer to come. They seems to know that you have something tasty to share: boiled peanut. They love it. They will eat it directly from you hard, just be gentle.<br />
<br />
The camels and llama are on the same cage. I know that Ilama is <i>spitter</i> and I choosed to stay away from it while trying to capture the camel on its best angle.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeY2b4syWaJkje1tVC0cPGvYUq4IJ7voNO5wQhP9el-6SCCfAC5hrj6GjympgDiJu80MuDDLXM2qiu9jsCBm_jBFQacoeYy1piwlnTRnIyG2d_mS6UN8FZsM8XEEn1G-5_I1M2kj_Qa844/s640/blogger-image--539856405.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeY2b4syWaJkje1tVC0cPGvYUq4IJ7voNO5wQhP9el-6SCCfAC5hrj6GjympgDiJu80MuDDLXM2qiu9jsCBm_jBFQacoeYy1piwlnTRnIyG2d_mS6UN8FZsM8XEEn1G-5_I1M2kj_Qa844/s640/blogger-image--539856405.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Next to the camel cage are African zebras with their beautiful blastered fur. The children love zebras but since the zebra always walk and never stand still, I can not capture them with my kids.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD2mfm1C-exZ6yhd7LZzG0R_q0Ve3ksBG94D_WUgwzsYUSfl3B9ax3y6sgMGcnM9gN1YeKRHiibeVp4pEz67OBBTXor7YlpPSvxicA-k_s8RBoWNXNyuxQ5c7UG70puyxYJU-NP4mpH0J1/s640/blogger-image--979784152.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD2mfm1C-exZ6yhd7LZzG0R_q0Ve3ksBG94D_WUgwzsYUSfl3B9ax3y6sgMGcnM9gN1YeKRHiibeVp4pEz67OBBTXor7YlpPSvxicA-k_s8RBoWNXNyuxQ5c7UG70puyxYJU-NP4mpH0J1/s640/blogger-image--979784152.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
As for the carnivore section, here are white tiger. Actually I saw a lion and a leopard, but it was far away from the front cage and I can not capture them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXk5141SulcMgu8j8C_tCgf7rsu_Y1ZVSLwN3hv6_oy5QIYSn_YG-ccz8aUBSMLTUd74zZpeVB72WLA0xl4rH4QJ1TvNaPqMjFLtBVBUkGjSosofrMgh3LVXJ_QjXJO7eB2SAgKiiy1pAG/s640/blogger-image--2086344522.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXk5141SulcMgu8j8C_tCgf7rsu_Y1ZVSLwN3hv6_oy5QIYSn_YG-ccz8aUBSMLTUd74zZpeVB72WLA0xl4rH4QJ1TvNaPqMjFLtBVBUkGjSosofrMgh3LVXJ_QjXJO7eB2SAgKiiy1pAG/s640/blogger-image--2086344522.jpg" /></a></div>

<br />
Ironically, yesterday, I read that one of Indonesian's zoo has beed dubbed as The Zoo of Death in Daily Mail UK. You can read the article <u><a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2529589/Worlds-cruellest-zoo-Shackled-elephants-starving-camels-150-pelicans-crammed-one-cage-death-toll-rises-daily.html" target="_blank">here</a></u>. It was a shameful story and contradicted with the zoo we visited in Siantar.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikoj3AFI7qzTqqy90DYFh-_DKM0qimWcEYoVk-8zYXWfJhub6oitfapKr2cXnwq3LDJY5A4SmFK-FhDjhjkQCCCOaVBlrJPUF8RviyFGHewCuA7GyIcEwTMVq-WXjj3TH9AyQvS9fC10qf/s640/blogger-image--1838656599.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikoj3AFI7qzTqqy90DYFh-_DKM0qimWcEYoVk-8zYXWfJhub6oitfapKr2cXnwq3LDJY5A4SmFK-FhDjhjkQCCCOaVBlrJPUF8RviyFGHewCuA7GyIcEwTMVq-WXjj3TH9AyQvS9fC10qf/s640/blogger-image--1838656599.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
The zoo in Surabaya is called as world's cruellest zoo due to how they treat animals in there. Its a very sad story and the article also show you sickening pictures of them. Animal shouldn't be treated that way. And I hope that Dailymail article will make the local government see and do something about it real soon :(<br />

Tinggal lima hari lagi, saudara-saudaraku, kita akan merayakan <b><a href="http://mommymayonnaise.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Natal</a></b> :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Itulah sukacita. </span><b style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Natal</b><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> yang sesungguhnya bagiku. Natal memang seharusnya dirayakan bersama keluarga dan bersama saudara-saudara seiman lainnya, berkumpul dan berdoa bersama. Ucapan "<b>Selamat Hari Natal</b>" hanyalah sebagai aksesoris tambahan saja bukan?</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Jawaban yang pasti: <b><u>TIDAK ADA PENGARUHNYA!</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
:)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Tuhan Yesus memberkati kita semuanya.</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><b><br></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="background-attachment: scroll; background-image: none; border: 0pt none !important; background-position: 0% 0%;"></span></div>

Acara adat dipenuhi dengan musik, <i>gondang Batak,</i> dan anak-anaknya akan menari atau <i>manortor</i>. Bukan sedang berpesta pora karena orang tuanya meninggal loh ya :) Horas!</div><div><br></div><div><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="background-attachment: scroll; background-image: none; border: 0pt none !important; background-position: 0% 0%;"></span></div>Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-43185551235041143602013-12-06T16:33:00.001+07:002013-12-06T16:33:39.479+07:00Christmas Is In The AirWooohooooo <b>Christmas</b> is in the air people ^^<br />
<div>
<br />
<div>
In just few days more, we will celebrate it with our beloved family and friends. Churches and houses are full of merrily songs: <i>Joy To The World, Hark The Herald Angel Sings, Jinggle Bells</i> and so on. All of those beautiful songs will be heard in the air this month. Personally, the most beautiful Christmas songs ever for me are from <b>BONEY M.</b> If you have not heard their Christmas songs yet, I really recommend you to hear at least one of them. If you love the traditional kind of <b>Christmas songs,</b> like I do, these are definately the best!<br />
<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway, as you can see three pictures I post here, these are pictures of our own <b>Christmas tree</b>. We do not have special theme for this year, though I found that Purple has been choosen as colour of this year's Christmas. I prefer the traditional colours instead: <u>Red and Green</u> and never get bored of them yet.</div>

We actually also have <b>Christmas wreath</b> hanging on our front door but I forget to capture it. Maybe tomorrow I will update this post with the picture. In the mean time, I hope your <b>Christmas preparation</b> there is as merry as we have here. <b>Joy To The Worl</b>d ^^</div>

It takes me at least one hour to go to school then back home, which I don't mind at all. I choose that school because I know it's worth the distance. And I will take her anywhere as long as it's an excellent quality school, just like this one. I'm sure you moms out there are thinking the same way right now :)<br>
<br>
One thing that always makes me amazed every day is that how people sometimes neglect their own safety and endanger other people life as well, by driving carelessly on the street. Accidents can happen and people can get injured by them. The most common dangerous behaviour found on the street is: when drivers pass through an intersection when the red traffic light still on and not even bother to stop. I mean, what were they thinking?<br>
<br><b>
Running the red light</b> is one of the most selfish habits on the street, especially motor-bikers. Indonesia is heaven for motor-bikers. I'm not saying that all motor-bikers are careless and irresponsible, some car drivers can be careless too. I've seen this kind of drivers myself. But the amount of motor-bikers are larger that the four wheels vehicles. That is why Indonesia is a heaven for motor-bikers.<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXq58oUIF_sZH_LP4POHrqBOFQsC2zsHpxzf35speVxpvUydWbKc2eSpJJ6V2KFsN4qxDRl0GzWUTuGzBEahEmh3ORKTsv0o2hf2BKNIPvFvdOoR13-ZxrQDJ9_VT55eqzZ-sjdjl8UHqe/s640/blogger-image--1942092589.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXq58oUIF_sZH_LP4POHrqBOFQsC2zsHpxzf35speVxpvUydWbKc2eSpJJ6V2KFsN4qxDRl0GzWUTuGzBEahEmh3ORKTsv0o2hf2BKNIPvFvdOoR13-ZxrQDJ9_VT55eqzZ-sjdjl8UHqe/s640/blogger-image--1942092589.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br></div><div><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Most of motor-bikers here have taken away the rearview mirrors of their motor-bikes. Usually they keep one on the left only but so many of them feel confident without any rearview mirrors at all. They choose to turn their eyes to the right/left to see if there's vehicles behind them rather than using rearview mirror as safety standard. All they care is the view in front of them only. They can move to the left and then to the right without signs. When the street in front of them looks empty, they will add the speed and move right away like a wounded animal. Racing in a crowded busy street.</span></div><div><br></div>
When the red traffic light is on, all of them try to move into the first row right behind the stop line by slipping between the stopped cars, which waiting for the light to turn green, and push their motor-bikes to the front row. Why do they do that? Why not just stop behind vehicles in front of them and wait until the light turns green? The answer is because most of them are trying to <b>run the red light!</b><br>
<br>
Sometimes, the intersection might appear empty. But one thing for sure, the green traffic light is still on from the other directions right? What if suddenly a huge truck pass by from the opposite direction with a high speed just when you decide to run the red light? Disaster! Vehicle in high speed usually unable to stop right away and you, my dear careless biker, my lose your own life and bring other people too! Innocent people who accidently stop their vehicles not far from the intersection traffic light. They can get injured too due to your careless behaviour!<br>
<br>
Just wait for the light to turn green. It's not like you are going to wait for hours, right? Just a few minutes and then you can drive again. These few minutes in the street are worth your life and other people as well. So many people die due to traffic accidents every year. Do not put yourself into the list. Traffic lights are there for a reason, please use it wisely.<br>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Everybody wants to arrive in where ever places they're going to as soon as possible but obviously <b>running the red light</b> is not a solution! Be responsible on the street because it's not only your own life is on risk, but other people life as well. Drive safely!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="background-image: none; background-attachment: scroll; border: 0pt none !important; background-position: 0% 0%;"></span></div>

I opened the window and I saw a quite thick layer of dusts on my neighbour's roof (I was on my house's second floor). I went outside the my house to find out what's happened right away. In my front yard, I found the same kind of dusts also covering all my plants including my car. Unfortunately, my car is WHITE! It's been raining all night long and I must parked my car outside (unfortunately again) since my husband is out of town and he parked his car inside. So his car is safe and mine is a mess *sigh<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xjms8BIYhII/UpHMQpJLPCI/AAAAAAAABag/YxJ12EgZT_U/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xjms8BIYhII/UpHMQpJLPCI/AAAAAAAABag/YxJ12EgZT_U/s1600/image.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I looked closer to the dusts. Soft grey with soft texture just like ashes from cigarette. And its all over the place. And then I found out that it was actually volcanic ashes from Mount Sinabung which has been frequently errupted (minor erruptions) these couple of weeks.<br />
Mount Sinabung is located in Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia which is about 3 hours from our place, Medan, which actually is far enough. Yet the wind apprently succeed to bring the ashes all way down to Medan.<br />
<br />
Almost every car we found on the street covered in ashes as well and it's (as I said before) strange.....<br />
Like this car, I found when parking in front of a restaurant<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oz4zNS09YWE/UpHHz8AAHMI/AAAAAAAABaU/8oV3XN8akAE/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oz4zNS09YWE/UpHHz8AAHMI/AAAAAAAABaU/8oV3XN8akAE/s1600/image.jpg" height="297" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Mount Sinabung is actually beautiful especially on a clear day. Two places near it are familiar with tourists, Brastagi and Kabanjahe. Two beautiful places with the pleasant mountain air. I am sure that those places will look quite different right now, covered in vulcanic ashes which I'm sure will be thicker than we have here. I hope Mount Sinabung will be just fine and one day we will be able to see it again.<br />

Have you upgraded to Ios 7 then? If so, how is the download process works for your iPad then, is it done successfully? If so, you are so lucky then.<div><br></div><div>My iPad 3 works just fine for me. I got it from my beloved and generous hubby LoL and got excited ever since. And guess what, my very first app is Hay Day! Well, I'm not proud of it since many of you will consider that it sound worthless to have an iPad just to play Hay Day. Hey! I love games. Too bad I can not find Farmville here. LoL. So, for several months, I use my iPad for nothing but Hayday and social network such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Until I got bored and tried to find something new to work with my iPad. And that was the beginning of disaster!</div><div><br></div><div>I realized that I have three blogs that have been sadly abandoned for about half a year or more due to my hectic schedule. I usually update my blog using laptop which means I need to spend more time sitting in front of my desk to write. I hate to bring laptop everywhere. And time is something i don't have! My laptop then can only sleep in my desk as well as my blogs. This iPad then wakes me up, that that I can easily update my blog without having to sit in front of my desk again. Yeay! I downloaded the Blogger app to get things even more easily.</div><div><br></div><div>As usual, I always try to put pictures in <u>almost</u> every posts I write. When I tried to upload pictures, there was a notification show up that I need to upgrade my iPad in order to continue. So I think, why not? The newest version is usually the better one, right. Then I go to the setting section and decided to upgrade to ios 7 and downloaded it OTA (Over The Air) by using Wi-Fi connection. <b>A VERY BAD DECISION</b> that I will always regret, even until now! The download process took forever. Almost eight hours! I was so glad that the download process finally over in the evening. Only to find out that there was something wrong with the process and my iPad ended in <b>Recovery Mode</b>. The screen displayed the <b>iTunes</b> image and asked me to connect to iTunes. In this recovery mode, I was unable to open anything in my iPad. I have to connect to iTunes to exit the recovery mode.</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga2cFdqR0ODFEuVfuph6kMvF1QNo3zMDsrphIP17RgiTkkBuhaM7G6dtrxhZJhBg3FlCKDobtYSgWeCcEv24geW-lHU6Jgpyb9KrIVXUDcjEApMU5tZKLJoK1zAadD3A38PlgzFCdaXGNm/s640/blogger-image--1161021392.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga2cFdqR0ODFEuVfuph6kMvF1QNo3zMDsrphIP17RgiTkkBuhaM7G6dtrxhZJhBg3FlCKDobtYSgWeCcEv24geW-lHU6Jgpyb9KrIVXUDcjEApMU5tZKLJoK1zAadD3A38PlgzFCdaXGNm/s640/blogger-image--1161021392.jpg"></a></div></div><div><i>Image credit: http://datas-recovery.com</i></div><div><br></div><div>I connected it with iTunes in hubby's Macbook and tried to recover the iPad software and it took forever too. Seven hours! And the result is: NOTHING! My iPad is still in recovery mode. It was a very stressfull days if I recall. I Google everything about this all night long since I could not sleep. Actually, I almost cried and scream! But there is a good point i got during my research. I found so many post and stuff about iPad, tips and tricks, softwares, etc. And then I found out about Tiny Umbrella, a software that can help younto exit the recovery mode. I downloaded it too and follow the instructions and nothing happened. The only way I can imagine is to bring my iPad to IBox. Nothing else! And its frustrated me so much.</div><div><br></div><div>At last, I tried my one last luck to recover using iTunes again, altough it already failed before. I thought about leaving the process all night long when I go to sleep. I had nothing to lose. Suddenly, something happened. As soon as the recovery process started, the iTunes logo on my screen dissapear. The apple logo appear along with the dowloading bar, as if the iPad is in the recovery process. Then in the next 10 minutes, my iPad screen back to normal condition complete with the iOs 7 succesfully installed. I was so surprised! I never wished that the iOs 7 will successfully installed after everything I did to exit the recovery mode. But i was wrong. The ios 7 has been successfully installed and my iPad works like brand new. I am a lucky person and I found out about it in a hard way. I make a promise to myself that I will never try to download any kind of iOs again ever. This is my first and last stressfull experience about this. As long as my iPad works just fine, there is no need to change anything. Maybe next time I will not be this lucky *sweatdrop*</div><div><br></div><div>Well, how about you? Have you experienced the same thing with me?</div>Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-47253182122954026292013-10-15T10:17:00.001+07:002013-10-15T10:17:35.663+07:00Gundaling, Tanah Karo nan semrawutSebagai penghuni perkotaan yang sumpek dan penuh polusi, nggak banyak pilihan yang tersedia sebagai tempat refreshing keluarga yang termasuk kategori family friendly. Sungguh disayangkan..</div>Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-37024819764400112692013-07-30T12:38:00.001+07:002013-07-30T13:32:19.402+07:00Dress First, High Heels NextHello, gorgeous. How have you been? It's been a while since my last post, yes I realized that :) but right now I found a perfect time for me to share another story with you, again. Today, let's talk about something that you ladies could never resist. A dress. Not just a dress but gorgeous dresses. Just like my title above: <a href="http://www.dressfirst.com/" target="_blank">DressFirst</a> and the High Heel Next. Anyway, what kind of party dresses you like? For me, I like the purple one below:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir4mE_qw4DE55gfsuHH3bRE0DLQ-u4vkQXloxcCcl2wsO059Z99gVxwa34ngk7sf_tLGWi4rm-KMwZ-KeCG7FdWwd8ZjAYUhAVKzzuoZn2tt39Xl5Fahmk9bzAB1pmsgKV-iHp326mfWej/s1600/ungu1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir4mE_qw4DE55gfsuHH3bRE0DLQ-u4vkQXloxcCcl2wsO059Z99gVxwa34ngk7sf_tLGWi4rm-KMwZ-KeCG7FdWwd8ZjAYUhAVKzzuoZn2tt39Xl5Fahmk9bzAB1pmsgKV-iHp326mfWej/s1600/ungu1.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="left">
</div>
Purple is my favorite color and the A-Line type is perfect for my body type too. The lower part of my body is bigger than the upper part. So the skirt will cover my big hip in a perfect way. And I love the shade too. You can have the purple color in about three shades. Dress like this will make me you look at me when we're in the same party :)<br />
<br />
But, some friends maybe have a different taste of party dresses. Instead of the A-Line type, they will go with the mini dress like this one below:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwodKijTyuSR329Hk1yV0Q7SWvmw4KLd1iVe8TBdhcnqseT30SHuwcQz5YI04NNb7NVW8A5Y2x0UN3t-RgD16QbJAByAGKG1V_mPVzlVVilM-nNgB5QdVsfSRtoB3LmFv1znce9Y3Yi63g/s1600/mini.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwodKijTyuSR329Hk1yV0Q7SWvmw4KLd1iVe8TBdhcnqseT30SHuwcQz5YI04NNb7NVW8A5Y2x0UN3t-RgD16QbJAByAGKG1V_mPVzlVVilM-nNgB5QdVsfSRtoB3LmFv1znce9Y3Yi63g/s1600/mini.jpg" /></a></div>
It's perfect for you who have a slim yet curvy type of body. And tell me about the color, it's just gorgeous. It will fit with any color of purse and high heel you have. I think, with this beautiful dress, you can show up with a brave colors of purse or shoes, such as fuchsia or red. Gorgeous!<br />
Anyway, I must off for now, I need to find one of my own. I will attend a friend's wedding party this weekend and I must find a purple gorgeous party dress today. See you again, fellas and stay gorgeous...<br />
<br />
<br />
XOXO<br />

Good neighbors are really really hard to find nowadays. Sometimes people who lives nearby happen to those who pissed you the most. I mean, I don't get it. If we understand the situation that whether we like it or not, as neighbors, we will always see face to face everyday. We'll meet each other when we throw garbage to the garbage can in front of our house, we'll meet each other when we open our gate every morning before go to work, we'll see each other when we spend some quality times with our kids in our front yard, etc. Then what's the point of being a such an " unpleasant neighbor"? <br />
<br />
Apparently, my new neighbor will have a ceremony to celebrate their new house tomorrow. A few day ago, the husband came talk to hubby and shared a bit of their plan. And how they're going to build little tent for that event using the "public path" of the housing. My hubby said okay. Well, there's nothing we can do if someone wants to have a ceremony with his family and friends. And it's about to happen on Saturday.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I think the husband LIED to us about the exact size of the tent they're going to use. It's not a single tent (for about 6-7 meters wide) only but 20-22 METERS!!!! Has he lost his mind??<br />
This tents stand in front of 3 houses in a row a block all the entrance ways to each of the houses, including ours. And the ceremony doesn't even start yet (it will be held tomorrow, on Saturday). Me and my hubby are SPEECHLESS to see that huge tents blocking our entrance. Hubby can't park his own car in front of our own house. So, tomorrow he must find other spot to park his car, far from our home. And obviously, my car is going to stay at home this entire weekend because one of this "stupid neighbor's tent's supports is standing right in front of house and block the way.<br />
I think we're going to spend the entire day on the road tomorrow :(((<br />
Bad bad neighbor, you really need a good punch in your face! :( <br />

Everybody loves <a href="http://www.mommymayonnaise.com/"><b>holidays</b></a> and <a href="http://www.femalestuffs.com/"><b>celebration</b></a> is one of the reason to this. We just love the amazing air which very different from the other days we have in a year. Especially when we talk about Christmas (for Christians) or Eid ul -Fitr (for Moslems). Each holiday is very special to it's congregations. But we have one thing in common about how to celebrate it and how to make the holidays merrier. I want to talk about FIRE WORKS!<br />
<br />
Based on Wikipedia, Fireworks are<span class="st"> <i>a class of explosive pyrotechnic devices used for aesthetic and entertainment purposes</i>. Indeed, it is very entertaining to watch beautiful fireworks in the night sky, especially when we're on celebration. The bigger the fireworks, then the merrier the celebration becomes. I'm sure that everybody will prefer giants fireworks like this one below:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM4RsBd636sIoBtQzYQQDpRwa2XbzoN9pBwkspovy6B8OX4KTwfvBz4PvQawoC0TjEHjmHdXKgrHh-oFzqJhflbaVSx0kAGFb8DW1itK3NqK_0HFJsH8-n8pTe_H0ibrkRWItVSOSFaDo2/s1600/fireworks1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM4RsBd636sIoBtQzYQQDpRwa2XbzoN9pBwkspovy6B8OX4KTwfvBz4PvQawoC0TjEHjmHdXKgrHh-oFzqJhflbaVSx0kAGFb8DW1itK3NqK_0HFJsH8-n8pTe_H0ibrkRWItVSOSFaDo2/s320/fireworks1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<span class="st">than the small one like my daughter usually play with like this:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNbJ7uYH13TuYO7XoRHkc03Wics7loSU0VxW_nPYYLHV8scvHgSXDLuI0H1APxWCBzteTFsa8DjdJqXnxPks2AxmLqIs7Ve_UUfiHHJHj-GZzN_oLtvI6yjD0e-mMYEDu0GjR-na-5TzIj/s1600/fire.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="228" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNbJ7uYH13TuYO7XoRHkc03Wics7loSU0VxW_nPYYLHV8scvHgSXDLuI0H1APxWCBzteTFsa8DjdJqXnxPks2AxmLqIs7Ve_UUfiHHJHj-GZzN_oLtvI6yjD0e-mMYEDu0GjR-na-5TzIj/s320/fire.bmp" width="320" /></a></div>
Because that's the point of fireworks. Size does matter!<br />
<br />
But, for me, the entertaining part from the size of fireworks is not that fun anymore when we're talking about the audio part. Fireworks are so loud that sometimes you even have to close your eyes. And that is my problem right now, unfortunately.<br />
<br />
I have a two months old baby in my house right now and I'm still recovering from my <i>sectio cesarean</i> I had. But I must deal with some irresponsible person who play with medium size fireworks every night since the first day of this Fasting month. I know that they just tried to have fun, but can't you just wait until the "big day" instead, to start celebrating using fireworks? I have a baby who can't sleep and starts to cry every time you start playing with your stupid noisy fireworks!<br />
<br />
Beside, I don't think it's a wise idea to play medium size fireworks among a crowd place like in the middle of people like that. You can go to an empty wide field and fire all your fireworks there where people can enjoy it safely without bothering new born baby like my son. But, if you wait until Eid ul -Fitr to start playing, I can bring my little baby away from my house that night. So that he can rest and sleep well peacefully. But until then, please use small fireworks instead. You can use it every night and still get the fun. Happy Fasting for you (who celebrate).<br />

Alcohol and drug addiction are not easy to solve, that is why you will always need help from the expert to be able to get sober and free from your addiction. A proper help will help you solve it faster, as long as you also have a strong will of course.<br />
<br />
That is why you can easily find so many kinds of treatment websites which offer you help to solve your drug or alcohol addiction nowadays. Usually these websites are from the owner of the treatment institutions themselves. The websites are used to introduce their facilities or type of treatments that you may need to solve your problem. Such as alcohol rehab, drug rehab, interventions, therapy models, holistic rehab or <a href="http://www.treatmentsolutionsnetwork.com/drug-rehab.html"><u>dual diagnosis</u></a>.<br />
<br />
There are so many of them out there and sometimes it becomes too difficult or confusing for you to make a choice. Then you can try to take a look a particular website which provides you complete information about the entire treatment institution in a single website. This kind of website is usually not owned by certain institution, but they act as a kind of directory for you and at the same time become the mediator between you and the institution you need. It sounds easier right?<br />
<br />
Use it to find institution for <a href="http://www.treatmentsolutionsnetwork.com/"><u>drug rehabs in Florida</u></a> and you will find wide variety of treatments there and choose one that you need the most to help you solve your drug or alcohol addiction. The locations are nation wide, so you may choose one which more closest to your home. As about the cost, it depends on your condition and the type of treatments that you need. It will vary from individual to individual and you will get the exact information about how much it’s going to cost you after consulting you problem directly. Don’t worry; I’m sure there will always be a way out for this. Then, good luck and I hope everything will go well with you there.</div><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="-moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; border: 0pt none ! important;" />Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-3467895257397188392011-06-15T12:44:00.000+07:002011-06-15T12:44:17.625+07:00Invest In Gold<div align="left">How do you like to invest your money? Easy. Just insult other people's religion! That's why it's better to avoid mixing religious opinions in your friendship. Even people in the same religion can easily find disagreement about something, not to mention those from different ones. Maybe, it's common for some people to talk or discuss or mock about other different religion inside their group. For me, it doesn't matter as long as they keep it around their community. But there will be a different situation when you intentionally share your personal opiniomS to people related with the issue. Somehow that can be considered as mockery and insulting.<br />
<br />
It's almost like questioning other religion's basic doctrin for your own sake. Does it sound too <i>soft</i> for you. Well, indeed it's a softer version of these insulting actions such as: mocking the meaning of Cross in front of Christian, or serving pork meat for Moslem (or beef for Hindus), questioning the meaning of being vegetarian to some Buddhists and stuff like that. I'm sure right now you can figure out what I mean by now.<br />
<br />
My point is, maybe we can't find a perfect agreement about religion whatsoever. But there's something we can agree that we should not mock other religions which different from our own. It will bring nothing but hatred and discomfort feeling. Keep your religion opinions with you and I'll keep mine. That's why we can have a fair and constructive friendship. I will appreciate your religion view, so please appreciate mine. We can still have friendship based on the same nationality or because we're all God's creation. That's better than fighting about religion. Don't you think?</div><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="border: 0pt none ! important; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous;" />Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-348828880343084892011-04-16T11:44:00.000+07:002011-04-16T11:44:48.471+07:00Trapped in Texas Hold'Em Poker<div align="left"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-PpqCnJSY9CYOtMStdPoJZkamdtuCyhGTK2vkTPg6wFJTo22ValoYVD2rXn83dzDLJr_hdlvomHs5pSxiZyXf5_QgLsSxG64_EW74SBsDHs7VTOX8eEPTPVQyavbn2ZspwD44eamkHVUJ/s1600/poker.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-PpqCnJSY9CYOtMStdPoJZkamdtuCyhGTK2vkTPg6wFJTo22ValoYVD2rXn83dzDLJr_hdlvomHs5pSxiZyXf5_QgLsSxG64_EW74SBsDHs7VTOX8eEPTPVQyavbn2ZspwD44eamkHVUJ/s200/poker.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>Right no, I'm watching a TV show about people who become so addicted to a <a href="http://www.femalestuffs.com/">famous</a> game on Facebook right now, <b>Texas Hold'em Poker</b>. I think you should watch this show for yourself, especially if you are one of them. <b>Texas Hold'em Poker</b> makes online gambling looks fun and how you can do it for killing time. But this show will tell you that something seriously bad is going on behind it.<br />
<br />
So many people have already trapped deeper and deeper into this online gambling. A smart college student who wants to try his luck for a few times, finally became so addicted and started to use his school fund to as a bet for this game. He even use the money from an account he shared with his parents. The parents received so many letters regarding unknown transaction in their account. When he realized that could not rely on that account any longer, he turned into criminal action, robbing a bank. Eventually, he surrender himself into the police and admitted the robbery.<br />
<br />
There was also <a href="http://www.mommymayonnaise.com/">a stay at home mother</a> (like me) who become so addicted with this game. Unconsciously, she used almost every penny her family had in the account as a bet. She confessed that it's because every time she feels like she's going to win, she always lost her bet by the end of the game. She's curious and keep betting her money for the next game until nothing's left in her account. Could you imagine that?<br />
<br />
I believe that this isn't only happening in other country as we may find the similar cases around us now. You can say that numerous number of people are getting deeper in addiction to <b>Texas Hold'em Poker</b> and continue to gamble. If you are one of them, take your time for a moment to look at your situation. Maybe, just maybe, some of you have already won a big amount of money right now, but have you consider about the amount of money you use as betting to gain that result?<br />
<br />
I love games too, I really do. I play almost every kind of games in Facebook but I always remind myself that it's all just for fun. I won't give a penny to buy anything to complete my game and I will definitely avoid the gambling game like <b>Texas Hold'em Poker</b>. <span style="font-size: large;"><b style="color: red;">Gambling is gambling</b></span>. They can trap you whether you realize it or not. Always remind yourself, that it's all just game! Just a game! And I won't give any money for it anyhow! </div><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="-moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; -moz-background-origin: padding; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; border: 0pt none ! important;" /><br />

After leaving her in her class room, I went to a big plaza, Cambridge, nearby with a <a href="http://www.femalestuffs.com/">friend</a> of mine. When we saw that ice cream cafe called <b>Fountain Cafe</b>, I suddenly thought that I would love to buy a scoop of ice cream and my friend agreed. We entered the restaurant and sit. Not long after that, a guy showed up and told us that the restaurant hasn't opened yet since the operation hour starts from 11 AM daily.<br />
<br />
Well, we're so ready to leave the restaurant when my friend asked him whether we can buy just two scoops of ice cream to go, because we saw that the ice cream box was already there and ready to serve. All they need is just a scoop. It took more than five minutes for him to ask one of his friend to serve us. A woman finally came up. I thought she's just washed her face when he called her, and she's not happy with that. She asked us about the kind of ice cream flavor that we want in a rush and <b style="color: red;"><span style="font-size: large;">absolutely without a smile</span></b>. She didn't even feel that she needs at least to wipe her wet face first before serving customers like us. She looks <b>so dirty</b> with a wet face like that. <br />
<br />
I never thought that a well known such as Fountain Cafe still hire a bad attitude employee like her. Without any doubt, she saw her upset and ugly face in front of us who come to deliver our money to her store. I just can't find any store manager among them to complain, since all I can see is just about ten employees were sitting in the tables and talking each other. And this stupid impolite women served us so badly.<br />
<br />
I don't know if this article will do any good for this restaurant in the future. I tried to find a kind of customer complain box around the store and found nothing. I also try if I can find any phone number which I can use to deliver my complain directly to the management and still found nothing. That's why I write this here then I hope someday one of the the persons in charge in <b>Fountain Cafe, Cambridge, Medan</b> will do something about their employees. Well, at least teach and train them about the basic standards of working in sales and services area.</div><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="-moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; -moz-background-origin: padding; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; border: 0pt none ! important;" />Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-25597655154767330702011-03-30T17:20:00.000+07:002011-03-30T17:20:34.407+07:00Free Yourself From Addiction!<div align="left">It feels awful when you realize that the number of people who’ve been addicted to drugs has increased from time to time. And most of them are young people who tempted to use cocaine, marijuana, heroine or even methamphetamine. This has been a major concern among people around the world including my own country. So many actions have been done to decrease this number in order to help people who want to free themselves from drugs addiction. Some gets in a hard way by spending a lot of time in jail, while some other are lucky enough to have a better option by joining a drug rehab.<br />
<br />
If you are one of those people who have been given a chance to join a drug rehab program, feel free to visit treatment facilities near you now. If you stay in New Mexico, you can visit <a href="http://www.newmexicodrugrehab.org/"><u>New Mexico drug rehab</u></a> for further information and help you needed. There is always hope for you and it only a phone call away. I read that there actually several kinds of drug rehabs you can choose, such as inpatient drug rehab if you choose to stay in the facility during treatments, while outpatient drug rehab is treatment you choose if you prefer to stay outside the facility instead and stay with your family and friends during treatment. There is also option for you between a long term rehab with duration at least 90 days or more or short term rehab treatment instead. Or maybe you just want to choose detoxification, or several other kinds of meetings.<br />
<br />
My point is that you should not feel ashamed about your condition concerning your drug addiction. Now, more and more people are trying to find help to cure their addiction after they realizes how bad the situation they have. Go get help now and free yourself from this self-defeating addiction. It’s clearly that you are going to need every help from people around you to get sober.</div><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="-moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; -moz-background-origin: padding; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; border: 0pt none ! important;" />Vanilla Bean Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600940798017768699noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360737150739451640.post-23454481698966797152011-03-22T04:01:00.001+07:002011-03-22T04:01:11.431+07:00Dive into the season’s sexiest swimwear with Express

We're enjoying our lunch at that time while (as usual) I always keep my front door locked as well as the iron door as the first layer. It was a quiet day and we're about to take a nap after meal.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-fWCWxp6kkVi7LArrcfixc6xuq3Bb3WiibGMpFJckHEubYtfvijqjXQ0fAFXQ1xbMx0VjoeO6ytXxesIMN8WpyUCZ93DRo9ZQBz0Kl6DCVStH4a07JS5YQZrDeN9dfmy_k7NwaPJmm6a/s1600/knife.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="146" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-fWCWxp6kkVi7LArrcfixc6xuq3Bb3WiibGMpFJckHEubYtfvijqjXQ0fAFXQ1xbMx0VjoeO6ytXxesIMN8WpyUCZ93DRo9ZQBz0Kl6DCVStH4a07JS5YQZrDeN9dfmy_k7NwaPJmm6a/s200/knife.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>When suddenly someone rang my door bell. I opened the door and found a middle aged <a href="http://www.femalestuffs.com/">lady</a> standing in front of the door. I never saw her before and surely don't know her. She looked surprised and said hello, which I replied back. She told me that she was going to buy a house in our housing that day.<br />
<br />
As some of you may already know that we are in a new house right now. But this housing is not full yet, there are many houses that still empty. So, this lady's reason is quite right. I just can't accept the next favor she asked me. She wondered if she could enter my house to look around to see the interior and any kind of changes we've made for our house. I mean, <span style="font-size: large;"><b>WHAT???</b></span><br />
You don't know me, I don't know you, and suddenly you asked me to open my front door so that you can enter to look around? Are you sober, lady?<br />
<br />
I refused it right away and told her that I had something important to do inside and I really don't have time to take her look around. My main thought at that time is <b style="color: red;">how impolite this lady is</b>. Didn't she even realize that I locked my two layered doors that day as a message that I don't want to be disturbed? But somehow she still had guts to ring my door bell and asked me that silly favor? I stay alone in my house (with my little daughter) since my hubby works in different city. So, I never let my front doors wide open for no reason. <b>NEVER!</b><br />
<br />
When I told hubby about this, he came up with a conclusion: <u style="color: red;">that lady was about to rob me that day</u> once I let her in. That she was just trying to find an excuse for me to let her in. I've heard lots of stories like this before, about someone got robbed in hypnotized way. The stories are spreading widely through medias including internet. To be honest, I didn't think that far. I was just thinking about her impoliteness. That's all. But my hubby's conclusion suddenly opened my eyes and frighten me a bit. If that's true, I can't imagine how close I was to be a crime victim in my own house where no one could ever help me at that time.<br />
<br />
Criminals nowadays are getting cruel and crazy every time. Even a middle aged and friendly looked lady can be a cruel criminal who hypnotizes her victims before robbing them. So, watch out there! Especially if you stay alone at home, like me. Never open your door for someone you don't know. Never!!</div><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54488/242/B9DAB24A4594774A91DC8B39DDCDA26E.png" style="-moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; -moz-background-origin: padding; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; border: 0pt none ! important;" /><br />

There was a time when beauty parlour or <i>beauty saloon</i> is considered to be only suitable for women. Men tried to avoid places like that in order to keep <u>the pride of their manhood</u>. There was a time when men hate to use <i>colorful</i> shirt or pants outside the house because colorful is somehow connected to womanhood. There was a time also where men considered <i>beautiful creme</i> such as hand and body lotion or face moisturizers or lip balms as prohibited for men. But can you still find it today?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiNGdHT-4ECDWeQvEHmjCI_2aVQ4lT2L58jOIb9upUemPYELUTLvbVj28iLLnNx44kKBWe7lkZ5OERO2c_jy1zFFsqULdW8sQxpMc9mkVOjjVw1ZjOh2j-R8M4s6p5q79XvfJuMcygCnsE/s1600/Pink+shirt.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiNGdHT-4ECDWeQvEHmjCI_2aVQ4lT2L58jOIb9upUemPYELUTLvbVj28iLLnNx44kKBWe7lkZ5OERO2c_jy1zFFsqULdW8sQxpMc9mkVOjjVw1ZjOh2j-R8M4s6p5q79XvfJuMcygCnsE/s200/Pink+shirt.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>Go and look inside a beauty saloon right now! You will find at least three men inside are sitting nicely and ready to get the treatments. From hair treatment to <i>manicure</i> and <i>pedicure</i> treatment, just like most ladies do. When you walk in a mall or department store, take time to look around, then you will find men wearing soft pink t-shirt with purple tie, or even yellow shirt. If you have a brother or boyfriend or husband, take a look at his drawer then find how many hand and body lotion he has in it. Don't be surprise if you can also find a face moisturizer just like the one you use daily too. LoL<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Our men are changing.</b> By doing what women usually do will not change who he is at the same time. I even consider it as a new perspective. Now, women can ask their men to accompany them to a beauty saloon where they don't need to sit and wait till bored to death. They can also have the same treatment with their women as well. Forget about the dark colors and boring style inside your man's wardrobe. Buy him a light colored tie or shirt and even a colorful short. And don't you want your man to smell good and feel good? Share some of your beauty creme with him such as lip balm or face moisturizer. But make sure to <b>keep him away</b> from your decorative make up! You don't want to walk with a man using your red lipstick, pink blush on and your fake eyelashes walking beside you, right? LoLoLoL<br />
<br />
<br />
What a man world! Hahahaha<br />

As you may realized, I've been away from my blog these past three months. The last time I checked, my Page Rank is three and suddenly I found out that it has been increased into FOUR today! I mean, I don't know exactly when this happened but I just found out about this today.<br />
<br />
I guess Google just being kind to me after all. What do you think? LoL<br />
<br />
Anyway, how are you doing there, my friends? I hope everything is alright with you all there. Mine is fabulous! And you know why. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. Gosh, you guys have many holidays in a row, huh? LoL<b><br />
</b><br />
<b>1. Tell us about you very favorite (yes we know that's redundant) <a href="http://www.mommymayonnaise.com/">Thanksgiving</a>.</b><br />
It's kinda boring LoL since my answer will be just simple: nothing. I enjoy watching movie about how people celebrate Thanksgiving by sitting together around a table and have a feast. If Halloween is famous with the pumpkin stuff, then Thanksgiving is well known for the turkey. Am I right?<br />
<br />
<b>2. What are you doing for <a href="http://www.femalestuffs.com/">Turkey Day</a> this year?</b><br />
Guess what? Nothing! (Grin)<br />

<b>3. If you were to go to somebody else’s house, what would be your favorite dish to bring?</b><br />
Well, in our culture way, the most general kind of dish you usually bring is cake. Well, some may choose to bring fruits instead. But, we also bring something more special if the house we're about to visit is a close family member. We usually bring dishes cooked by my mom at home as a gift.<br />
<br />
<b>4. Tell us about the funniest person that you'll be with this Thanksgiving.</b><br />
See #2! <br />
<br />
<b>5. What would surprise us to know about your Thanksgivings?</b><br />
Uhm..Uhm..Nothing..<br />
<br />
<b>6. Does your usual mix of guests result in drama, or is it a group you’re happy to see?</b><br />
I think everyone will have a bit of everything when talking about mix of guests. Right?<br />
<br />
<b>7. What did your family do for Thanksgiving when you were a kid? Do you still do it?</b><br />
See #4!<br />
<br />
<b>8. We know you've been asked this probably 15 times this week. But share with us in 2010, what are you most thankful for?</b><br />
I will always be thankful for everything we have right now. Especially for my second pregnancy right now. I think God bless us so much that I can't think to ask for anything for now. But, I will always pray that our family will be in His protection and never ending love.<br />
<br />
<b>9. Okay, the big question: are you going to 'attend' any of the "Black Friday" sales? ...and if you are, are you hard core serious like the 5 am "be there" crowd?</b><br />
See #7!<br />
<br />
PS: May I make the conclusion for you? All my answers above are totally boring LoL. Believe it or not, I think I'm going to cancel this post or delete it after couples of hours. Hahahaha..<br />
But don't let this ruin your Thanksgiving celebration there. Have a great one, for sure!
