Do You Celebrate Thanksgiving? Uhm, No!

Fyyuuhh....this one is going to be tricky for me. And you know why. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. Gosh, you guys have many holidays in a row, huh? LoL

1. Tell us about you very favorite (yes we know that's redundant) Thanksgiving.
It's kinda boring LoL since my answer will be just simple: nothing. I enjoy watching movie about how people celebrate Thanksgiving by sitting together around a table and have a feast. If Halloween is famous with the pumpkin stuff, then Thanksgiving is well known for the turkey. Am I right?

2. What are you doing for Turkey Day this year?
Guess what? Nothing! (Grin)

3. If you were to go to somebody else’s house, what would be your favorite dish to bring?
Well, in our culture way, the most general kind of dish you usually bring is cake. Well, some may choose to bring fruits instead. But, we also bring something more special if the house we're about to visit is a close family member. We usually bring dishes cooked by my mom at home as a gift.

4. Tell us about the funniest person that you'll be with this Thanksgiving.
See #2!

5. What would surprise us to know about your Thanksgivings?
Uhm..Uhm..Nothing..

6. Does your usual mix of guests result in drama, or is it a group you’re happy to see?
I think everyone will have a bit of everything when talking about mix of guests. Right?

7. What did your family do for Thanksgiving when you were a kid? Do you still do it?
See #4!

8. We know you've been asked this probably 15 times this week. But share with us in 2010, what are you most thankful for?
I will always be thankful for everything we have right now. Especially for my second pregnancy right now. I think God bless us so much that I can't think to ask for anything for now. But, I will always pray that our family will be in His protection and never ending love.

9. Okay, the big question: are you going to 'attend' any of the "Black Friday" sales? ...and if you are, are you hard core serious like the 5 am "be there" crowd?
See #7!

PS: May I make the conclusion for you? All my answers above are totally boring LoL. Believe it or not, I think I'm going to cancel this post or delete it after couples of hours. Hahahaha..
But don't let this ruin your Thanksgiving celebration there. Have a great one, for sure! Xoxo

Boredom, Go Away!

1. When pigs fly I think we will see the sky turns pink once a week, assume those pigs will choose particular day to fly together. You better watch out when this day comes, cover your entire roof with something which absolutely water resistant, to prevent you from having pigs poop all over your roof. Just in case they have nasty feeling to poop while flying. This is a silly imagination LoL

2. What? Are you thinking about my silly imagination above seriously?!

3. Call me a dreamer. But I think it's okay to be a dreamer sometimes, especially when you get stuck with your daily activities which makes you become so numb and unable to feel anything anymore. I think once at a time you may find life we live is a bit boring and we need something to refresh our mind and make us smile. Dreaming or daydreaming is one of the fastest, cheapest and healthiest way for it. As long as you can control yourself from getting deeper and deeper with your dream until you forget about your real life responsibility, then it's okay to make a silly imagination sometimes.

4. Yes life can be boring sometimes,  if you know what I mean.

5. The most entertaining person in my life are my hubby and 3 years old daughter in their own different ways because hubby knows what kind of entertainment I want when I feel boring and help me get out of that situation. While my 3 years old daughter always entertains me with her simple and innocent saying and look. I love my life.

6. Well, I told you much about how to handle boredom in my own perspective. I definitely want to know your side of the story. So, who's next?

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to do nothing, I will stay at home and spend more time to sleep. It rains a lot here and I don't feel like want to going anywhere now tomorrow my plans include nothing but staying at home also. And maybe on Sunday I want to visit my MIL's house and spend time with the in-laws.

The Hunt Of The Last Nazis

Have you ever watched a program on History Channel about The Last Nazis? I watched this program since last month and become a fan ever since. It’s about the hunt of war criminals that used to join NAZI and become part of Holocaust. At WW2, they’re all young soldiers with muscularly steady body and ready to do anything. But now, they’re just old men and almost senile. If you saw them without knowing any of their dark past as human slaughterers, you would have considered them as kind old men with big smile who greet everyone they met in the street with smile. But it will soon change after you know that they used to take part of killing thousand of Jewish people in Holocaust.
These war criminals are hunted for trial. They must pay for what they’ve done in their young age. And guess what, almost every one of them confesses that they’re innocent and blame all of it to other soldier or their superiors. How they couldn’t take responsibility for thing they didn’t do and they feel terribly humiliated by the media about this. But, don’t get tricked by all those wrinkles and their weakness of old age. They were sentenced guilty in court and were sent to jail for the rest of their lives. But the hunt is not over yet. There are many of these war criminals who appeared as untouchable. Some of them are incredibly rich and able to hide in different countries or bribe everyone to help them doing so. Including the “Doctor Death” who used to do some horrific and needles experiments using Jewish detainee to fulfill his need of slaughtering people, Aribert Heim. His experiments killed hundreds of people that time. What an evil monster. So, the hunt of the last Nazis is still going on.

Donald Trump

1. “A little more moderation would be good. Of course, my life hasn't exactly been one of moderation.”
Do you live your life by moderation or extremes?
I tend to live my life by moderation. I'm a kind of boring girl, you may say LoL. But I want to live in peacefully and know exactly what I'm going to do next. Just a simple me :)

2. “All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me - consciously or unconsciously. That's to be expected.”
Have you ever thought someone was flirting with you in a work environment? What happened?
Yeah (wink) I've been through this many years ago. But I don't want to flirt in work environment. I met my hubby in totally different circumstance.

3. “As long as your going to be thinking anyway, think big.”
Have you ever “thought big” and you wound up crashing and burning?
LoL Yes! But I think I will keep it for my own LoL

4. “Everything in life is luck.”
Do you believe in luck? If not, do you feel it all happens to us for a reason?
I don't believe in luck. Every thing is this world happens for a reason. So, whatever I have right now will have a significant effect for my future.

5. “Experience taught me a few things. One is to listen to your gut, no matter how good something sounds on paper. The second is that you're generally better off sticking with what you know. And the third is that sometimes your best investments are the ones you don't make.”
Have you ever benefited big time because you declined an offer, investment, job (Well you get the idea.)?
I'm not sure about this. If I truly have, then it's completely out of my memory.

6. “I don't make deals for the money. I've got enough, much more than I'll ever need. I do it to do it.”
Tell us about someone that you know that has all the money they need.
I think no one will ever say "enough" when talking about money. No matter how much money you have, you will feel the urge to find more and more. Just like Uncle Scrooge LoL. So, I've never met one who ever say "I have all the money I need already" so far.

7. “I have made the tough decisions, always with an eye toward the bottom line. Perhaps it's time America was run like a business.”
Do you think running your country like a business would be a good thing?
I think there's a significant difference between running a business and running a country. When you're running a business, all you think is about making profits. But you need to think deeper when you're running a country. You must pay attention to things such as social responsibility, patriotism, and stuff like that.

8. “I try to learn from the past, but I plan for the future by focusing exclusively on the present. That's were the fun is.”
Do you live in the past in any way?
No.. Leave the past behind and seek for the future.

9. “If you're interested in 'balancing' work and pleasure, stop trying to balance them. Instead make your work more pleasurable.”
How are you at balancing work and pleasure?
Spare the weekends for my family. That's also a chance for you to recharge your battery while having some fun. And when you must deal with Monday again, you will smile and say: Bring it to me!

10.“Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.”
Tell us about a time that you won the battle but lost the war.
There so many times in my life when I have to deal with this situation. Trust me, it's not something that you want to hear nor read :)

Two Things I Thankful For

Two things I thankful for
1. My loving husband who’s been kind enough to buy me a new Blackberry to replace my old one which almost broken. I found that my old Blackberry doesn’t work as good as it was and it’s irritating me. I need to pull out the battery every time the screen starts to freeze for a long time. I know that it needs to be replaced with a new one. I can’t do anything to fix it anymore. And my hubby bought me a new one yesterday. Yay!

2. A friend of mine who kindly enough to accompany me contend my nervous when I need to drive my car again after four months absence. It gets me nervous especially when I sat in the driver’s seat for the first time (again) I hope I still remember everything. She directs me in a good way and brings my self esteem back. I can get over my nervous and manage to drive my car safely. LoL
Silly me

Happy Tuesday for you all out there

Wild Monkeys Near Danau Toba

Last week, we had a chance to visit the famous lake in Sumatera Utara (North Sumatra) Indonesia, Danau Toba (Toba Lake). I can't visit my hometown every month so every time we go there, we will always visit Danau Toba for sure. Since it's only less then 1 hour from my hometown.
We enjoy the beautiful scenery that time and my brother took his chance to swim. The weather was just perfect. When we arrived, it's been raining. But luckily it stopped several minutes later then replaced by the bright sunshine.
After a couple of hours in relaxing time, we decided to go home. We got a chance to stop by a few minutes to feed wild monkeys from the side of the road. Yes, so many monkeys were waiting there for visitors to stop by and gave them something to eat, such as banana or peanuts. We're lucky to find some of them came towards our car and stay right beside the car. We gave them peanuts and soon more monkeys were approaching. That's how I got this pictures.
But suddenly, they're all gone. Disappear! What's happening? It turns out that those monkeys run for their lives after they saw a monkey hunter carrying his gun approaching. Oh my God. How can people shoot and kill those adorable animals whatsoever? This bad man walks slowly and passes by our car. I hate him! I wish one day he will pay for what he did! Hunters are really bad persons! :(
And those cute monkeys never show up again even after the ugly hunter disappears from our sight. Something needs to be done to protect this wild monkeys soon!

It's About Me

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be?
I really want to be a professional writer. I admire those people who loves to write and earn money from that. It's not easy to be a writer, though it may seem that all you need is just pen and paper. But I think imagination and thought are the most important yet difficult part.

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?
I love woods but I don't like to spend too much time in an quiet, gloomy and monotone place like that. I prefer the beach, where I can enjoy sun shine and hear the waves outside my house. Sounds tempting.

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children?
Yes, for us a name is such a pray. We gave the best name for our child so that she will carry our pray with her for the rest of her life. Our daughter name, Agasha, taken from old Greek language which means kind or good. We hope life will treat her kindly and good and she will treat everyone kindly and good either.

4. What is your guilty pleasure? (I know we've done this one before, but I'm guessing people's "guilty pleasures" change frequently. At least, mine do!)
Once, I've been thinking about what's the worst thing is going to happen if the three of us (mu, hubby, daughter) just use all our savings and have an ultra fancy vacation in Eastern Europe. It will be great for us, but guess what will happen after the fun time over. LoL

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened?
I love to see my house clean and tidy in a normal way. But, my little daughter won't let me. So, the change my definition of clean and tidy quite a bit since we have her :)
